Methanol monitor
By optimizing the amount of methanol added in nitrogen wastewater treatment, nitrogen decomposition can be carried out efficiently, thereby suppressing BOD and COD.
When performing nitrogen treatment using microorganisms, the addition of methanol is necessary in the denitrification process. However, in conventional technology, methanol is added based on the maximum concentration of nitrate ions in the influent, resulting in unnecessary costs. The methanol monitor can detect the methanol after the reaction using a gas sensor and automatically add the optimal amount of methanol.
